Starlit Adventures
(PS4, iOS & Android)
My Role
In Starlit Adventures I was responsible for all the art, from concept to final product, including Art Direction, Character Art, Environment Art, all 3D modelling, texturing and optimisation, U.I. Design and Art, with the exception of some illustrations from Cassio Yoshiyaki.
Since we worked in a small team and everyone got involved in many activities. Apart from the art, I was also able to contribute to the Game Design, Level Design, Sound Design, and Promo Material.
Tools used:
3ds Max, Photoshop, Unity 3D, and After Effects.
About the Project
Starlit Adventures is an independent transmedia project that I had the opportunity to co-create from the start at Rockhead Games. The goal was to create an interesting universe and develop a game as its first product.
According to Rockhead's principle of bringing console-quality games to mobile, we made an adventure-platformer aiming to deliver a great gameplay experience with a memorable content that could be explored in other medias as well.
The game has more than 100 carefully crafted levels that can be played in different ways using Special Suits that change the player's approaches to its challenges, to try to rank against friends, collect all hidden items, beat enemies and Bosses, and solve puzzles in 8 Worlds.
It has millions of players worldwide and has been constantly featured on AppStore and Google Play in most countries.
